Who I am
I’m what those close to me would call a dreamer. I personally detest that word. It implies that I would rather waste my life in a false reality full of joy and happiness rather than spending my time with these eyes wide open. To fit such a label I would also have to adore sleeping, basically. I am not a fan of that activity. There is far too much left for me to see and enjoy in this existence for me to give sleep any more time in absolutely must have. If asked, I say I am a simple man. I don’t fancy complications, although my simplicity has often times landed me square in the middle of some honestly horrible situations. I’m a masochist. I have fears, many of them. I may share them here. I may not. We’ll see.

I currently do web design here in Hawaii. I work with a local firm and also do some freelance jobs in my spare time. I enjoy creating, in many different ways. I love to write and that same creative drive has spilled over into my career making work quite a pleasant environment. I do of course have my moments where I want nothing more than to rain down fire and brimstone from the heavens on some projects but in the end, all works out and I come away from each project with what to me is far more important than money, experience. Don’t get me wrong, though, the money is good.

The world as it was when I were but a child. The feeling of a light rain on my lips. Reading. The sound my toaster maes when it finishes. Quiet. I live this life a solitary man. I greet every day as if it were my last. For one day, it will be. We never know when that day is, so I choose to take each in completely and with reason. I cannot allow myself to plan or schedule. That has lead to nothing but ruin in my past. I refuse to continue in that negative cycle. The things listed here are a small bit of many things I hold dear. Things. In short, that is what I love. No person. No place. No activity. Just…things.
